Why do magnetons jump?
In the process of using magnetic stirrer, if there is a jump phenomenon, it may be caused by the following reasons:
1. Magneton type does not match
The suitable magneton type should be selected according to the sample volume and viscosity during the stirring process. The common types of agitator on the market are as follows:

- Strong magnetic type: Stronger magnetic to provide stronger torque, suitable for large volume containers or high scale cylinder, non-fading magnetic, suitable for high temperature applications and stirring high viscosity liquid, soil samples, etc.
What is the correct way to use a temperature senso
a. The temperature sensor is connected to the back of the machine. When the machine screen shows that probe does not flicker, it proves that PT1000 has been connected to the machine. If the probe continues to blink, the connection is not successful.
b. The probe of the magnetic temperature sensor should be immersed in 1/3 to 1/2 below the liquid level, and the horizontal position should be between the container wall and the center, not against the wall.
Common pipetting problems
1. How to ensure the accuracy of liquid absorption when the manual pipette absorbs sticky or volatile samples?
A continuous dispensing pipette with external piston is recommended for drawing viscous samples. If a manual pipette with built-in piston is used, the reverse pipetting method can be adopted. Press the button of sucking and draining to the second stop point during sucking and the button of draining to the first stop point during draining to ensure the accuracy of the amount of sucking.
2. Check whether the pipette leakage method?
After suction, stop in the liquid for 1-3 seconds to observe whether the liquid level in the suction head drops; If the level drops first check the suction head for problems.
Confirm that the suction head is OK, there may be a problem with the piston assembly, at this time should contact the manufacturer maintenance personnel.
3. Does the pipette absorb organic solvents?
A: The pipette does not directly contact the sample, theoretically, but because the organic solvent is volatile and corrosive, it may have an impact on the internal piston assembly, so it is recommended to use the organic solvent with a filter element suction.
4. How should the pipette deal with the phenomenon that the pipette does not bounce back when it is pressed or that the liquid leaks and does not suck?
If this problem occurs after a period of time, liquid may enter the pipette and corrode the piston. It is recommended to replace the piston.
If it is a new pipette, it may be caused by poor lubrication of the piston and O-ring. Press it hard and press it several times to spread the silicone grease evenly.
5. Does pipette nozzle ejector not spring back after pressing?
Possible cause: The tube pusher spring is corroded, and the single nozzle pusher assembly needs to be replaced
6. The word wheel of the counter is uneven and the teeth jump?
Possible causes: Poor assembly, gear wear, or shrapnel damage, need to replace counter assembly
7. What should I do if the liquid enters the pipette by mistake when sucking liquid?
If an accident occurs and liquid enters the pipette, please stop using the pipette first and remove the liquid as soon as possible. If thorough cleaning is required, disassemble, clean and perform subsequent lubrication maintenance according to the pipette manufacturer's instructions.
8. How long is the service life of DLAB manual pipette?
